New Good Practice Guide For Restarting After COVID-19
As many transport operators and logistic businesses begin to plan getting their workforce back in action, the FTA, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) have launched a Good Practice Guide for COVID-19.
The document shares practical advice from member organisations on how transport and logistics businesses can restart their operations safely, effectively and quickly as the nation begins to emerge from lockdown.
With contributions from Wincanton, Maritime, Hermes and DHL, the document is a practical tool for helping businesses deliver safe working environments for their staff as well as any visitors to their facilities.
Designed to be used in conjunction with the official UK government guidance on safer workplaces, which can be viewed here, the document covers key considerations including risk assessments, social distancing and cleaning in the workplace, as well as PPE and face coverings.
Access to the new guide is available to all UK logistics businesses from the FTA website here.
