Monthly Round Up With Our CEO Simon Crick - July 2020
The first half of 2020 has proved to be incredibly challenging for everyone, with Connected2 being no exception.
In the face of challenging market conditions, I am immensely proud of how the team has pulled together and positioned us for accelerated growth into the second half of 2020.
Looking back on the first 6 months of the year there have been many challenges, but also many triumphs that we must celebrate as a team. Here are the key highlights from 2020 so far:
1. We have welcomed two industry leaders to the Connected2 Board. Paul Dyer who was previously CEO at DHL Supply Chain and Terry Murphy who most recently ran supply chain operations for John Lewis.
2. We have welcomed several of the largest and most well-known Operators to the Connected2 community. Our portfolio of customers now includes high street retail, cold chain supply, general haulage, and couriers, all using our platform successfully.
3. Our product team have been able to accelerate the development of the platform to now include the analysis of tachograph infringement data, enabling us to work more closely with operators and drivers to continuously improve performance.
4. Open Space launched in June. Our community programme developed to monitor and measure driver wellbeing in correlation with tachograph and telematics data points.
5. July is set to be a record month for shifts completed on the platform as new customers join and national operators increase their volume and site adoption of the Connected2 solution.
Overall, I am really pleased with the progress we have made as a team and look forward to seeing our progress through the second half of 2020
All the best,
Simon Crick
