Launching our #LoveLogistics Campaign
Something that nobody can argue with is that the current coronavirus pandemic has shown us all how vital the transport and logistic industry is to the day-to-day running of our country. If it wasn't for the drivers and transport operators putting their health at risk by continuing to work, our hospitals wouldn't be getting the deliveries that they require and our supermarket shelves would be bare, but it shouldn't take a situation like this for us to show our appreciation!
That's why here at Connected2, in collaboration with Fleet Speak, are taking a stand and launching our #LoveLogistics campaign, where we will be highlighting the hard work that goes on within the industry to make sure everyone is safe in their homes, with food on their tables! We really want to show the support and respect these key workers deserve, not only in the current pandemic, but all the time!
Starting this week, we're going to be creating some insightful content alongside Fleet Speak (and any other businesses that want to get involved) to share stories about the industry, including how it is changing and the long-term effects of the current situation. We're going to be getting drivers, transport managers, businesses other people from in and around the industry to contribute their views and show their appreciation for the industry. If you're interested in getting involved, then drop us a message and we'll get back to you.
Alongside this, here at Connected2 we're going to be doing our bit to try and help drivers (those working and not currently working) as much as we can, starting by running free online mental health and wellness sessions with an industry leading partner.
So keep an eye out for our content, which will be shared here on our blog, our LinkedIn and our Facebook, and if you want to show your appreciation for the industry and all of the key workers, feel free to share the content or tag us in your posts with the hashtag #LoveLogistics.
