A simple return to work guide for fleet managers has been created by Arval
It feels like there has been so much information thrown around on what you need to do in order to get your fleet back to work that you don't know where to start. But luckily, thanks to the team over at Arval, there is now a simple guide available to aimed at helping fleet managers with their vehicle safety guides.
Arval, the vehicle funding and fleet management company, has grouped together all of the information and advice that has been provided by the governement and broken this down into a simple guide that will help fleets to return to work safely.
The advice and guidance that they have put together includes scheduling times for the collection of goods; encouraging drivers to remain in vehicles; ensuring vehicles are well-ventilated and the frequent cleaning of work areas and equipment.
Shaun Sadlier, Arval UK head of consultancy, said: “The document delivered by the government provides a strong basis for future fleet risk management of Covid-19 for businesses that operate company cars and vans.
“However, it’s a lengthy document and we’ve created an abridged version that includes all of the relevant principles and ideas, but in a format that is faster and easier for fleet decision makers to use on a day-to-day basis.
“The fact is that some industries are going through the process of returning to work very quickly and we are keen to provide ways of making this as easy - and safe - as possible for our customers.
“The new guide very much fits in with that thinking.”
